I just made the most awesome pizza, and The Brit won’t even try it. Anybody want some pizza? I used a store-bought crust (because, as I believe we have established, I am lazy) and topped it with pizza sauce, peppers, onions, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, pineapple and soy feta. I didn’t have any black olives, but they would go perfectly on this pizza.
I have also been busy fulfilling my duty as a tester for Kelly and Garrick’s vegan cookie book. Such a chore, I know.
Mexican Hot Chocolate Cookies, before baking:
And after:
These were so good! Rich and chocolaty with just the right kick of spice. The friend I mentioned in my last post ate like nine of them. Seriously.

I’ll take both please!
A cookie cookbook. WANT!
Sometimes I want to smack the brit upside the head and scream: ‘Just effing TRY it, man!’ He’s a stubborn one…
The pizza is like the tree in the forest question. Yes, it does make a sound even if no one is around to hear it and yes, the pizza still tastes awesome even if no one is around to share…
Nine! That’s a lot of cookies. But they definitely look tasty enough to justify eating nine…maybe even (gasp!) ten.
And you know, I’ve never thought about using the soy feta on a pizza. That seems so obvious, yet it never crossed my mind. Sounds like a great idea! I love that soy feta!
I’m totally craving falafel right now…and I just had leftover mochi for lunch. I’m not even hungry yet, but that’s all I can think about…hot, crispy falafel wrapped up in a soft warm pita…see ya then!
I want some pizza! I want some pizza! Cookies too, please!
Come on Brit! are you serious? are you telling me you didn’t even try that awesome pizza? you fool!
I’ll eat pizza! and cookies! chocolate and spice? noooo problem, I shall hoover your kitchen creations with gusto.
Wow, that pizza looks so good! Love your blog.
Mmmmmmm…Mexican Hot Chocolate Cookies! I can’t wait to see the recipe!
Um, I’ll take some pizza!! Oh and you’re making me so jealous with those tester cookies!
