I have a birthday cake and a wedding cake due tomorrow, so I’m afraid there’s not much in the way of yummy food to share today, as I’ve spent whole the day in the kitchen without making a thing for myself
Well, that’s not entirely true… I did make breakfast. Just some oatmeal with currants, a mashed up banana, a dash of cinnamon and a splash of soy milk, along with a decaf soy cafe au lait type thing that I made up. It was good. I love oatmeal in the mornings (or the afternoons or evenings, for that matter).
The picture is with flash because it was still dark when I took it. Of course, with all the rain we’ve had lately, when is it not dark?
I have to get back to baking now… believe it or not, I actually enjoy baking in the middle of the night. It feels strangely familiar and comfortable to me. Weird, huh?
