Five things

I have no pictures and nothing interesting to share today, so it’s lucky that the lovely and talented Vegan Cow Girl tagged me for a meme. I have to list five things about myself, and attempt to make them interesting. Here goes…

1. I was raised in a family of seven; my parents, four girls and one boy. My mother homeschooled us all, and I have never forgiven her for it.

2. I got my first full-time job when I was 14, back when minimum wage was $4.25/hour.

3. I once weighed over 300 pounds (I know, sad huh?).

4. I met The Brit in an online chat room, back before online dating services even existed and before everyone knew someone who had met someone online. We’re talking 1998 here people.

5. I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome – or PCOS. It is either not as scary as it sounds, or much scarier than it sounds, depending on how you say it.

I am tagging: No one. Sorry, but I don’t really know enough bloggers out there and those I do know have already done this meme. If you haven’t, please feel free to take it! The rules are: 5 things about yourself.

I promise to be more interesting soon.

That’s so cool that you met the Brit online way back in 1998! That was my senior year in high school, and I don’t even think my parents had internet then. So he was in England and you were here and then he moved here for you?! That sounds like movie love story!

BTW, I’m stealing your survey for later. No one’s ever tagged me. I’m not even sure what that means but I wanna be tagged!

Oh, and our monthly Food Awareness meeting is tomorrow night at Wild Oats if ya wanna come again. I know we’ll be planning our Earth Day leafleting thing and an food outing. We’d love to have ya back!

I met my first husband via the US mail before the Internet even existed (we were pen pals!)

As for #3: how did you lose it?

Wow, I’m surprised I knew some of this stuff. I guess I am paying attention when I read you :)
